A BUNDLE OF STICKS
An old farmer had four sons. They were very lazy. They always quarrelled with each other. The old farmer was very unhappy.
One day the father called his sons. He ordered his servants to bring a bundle of sticks , and said to his eldest son, "Break it." The son tried his best but he was unable to break the bundle. The other sons also tried, but none of them could break it.
The father said , "Untie the sticks and each of you take a stick." They did it. He called out to them, "Now break it." They broke each stick easily. Their father advised them, "Be united because unity is strength."
