THE HOLY PROPHET: A PERFECT                               MAN.

Muhammad is the only messenger of God whose life record is fully preserved. All his sayings, doings, actions and details of character are kept. His life is most comprehensive and perfect. It is an ideal for men and women of all ages He taught people to be good, honest and just in their dealings. He passed through various stages in his life. During childhood, he looked after the sheep of his footer-parents. When he grew up, he became a trader and went on trading trips to other neighboring countries. At Medina, he became the head of the community. He acted as a judge, chief administrator and a military commander.

His teachings are preserved in the forum of hadith (Traditions). These records cover matter of morality, spirituality, economics, sociology and politics. His teachings advise us to adopt moderate way of life. His life is a perfect model and example for people to follow to attain goodness, piety and success in their individual as well as social life. People can seek light from his message and guidance from his life. He was a perfect example of the Quran in practice. Whatever the Quran commanded, he obeyed, and whatever if forbade, he abstained from it. Muhammad was a true model of a perfect man. He led a simple and ordinary life.He was the helper of the poor orphans and windows. He was kind to the weak. He was hospitable to strangers and travellers. He suffered great hardships and cruelties but harmed none. He was kind to his family, affectionate towards his friends and forgiving towards his enemies. He was honest in his mission and fair in his dealings. In short his personality was the combination of all goodness and all excellence. The Holy Quran clearly mentions this aspects of his life in these words:
"And you on an exalted standard of character". Those who believe in God and hope for the day of judgment can find in him a true ideal and a good example to follow.
